Cambodian Water & Moon Festival 2023
Bonn Om Touk or the Cambodian Water & Moon Festival, is a Cambodian festival which marks the the end of the rainy season and reversal of the flow of the Tonle Sap River. Visitors from every town and province travel to Phnom Penh to watch boat races along the Sisowath Quay and visited illuminated floating royal boats with firework and attend free concerts in the evenings over night. People from every province join with the city’s residents to celebrate by night and day. The festival lasts three days, and commemorates the end of the country’s rainy season, as well as the change in flow of the Tonle Sap River. It includes boat races and concerts, and attracts several million people each year.
Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 – Final
The Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 final was a glamorous event that showcased the beauty and talent of 35 contestants from different provinces and communities of Cambodia. The pageant was held on September 7, 2023, at Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio in Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia.
The winner of the coveted crown was John Sotima, a 23-year-old beauty representing Kampong Cham province. She impressed the judges and the audience with her stunning performance in the swimsuit, evening gown, and national costume rounds, as well as her confident answer in the final question. She also won the special award for Miss Beautiful Skin.
Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 – swimsuit competition
Miss Universe Cambodia is a national beauty pageant that selects the representative of Cambodia for the Miss Universe contest. The pageant was established in 2017 and has been sending delegates to Miss Universe since then.
The swimsuit competition was judged by a panel of experts, including former Miss Universe Cambodia winners, fashion designers, photographers, and media personalities. The scores from this event, along with the other preliminary events, determined the top 15 finalists who advanced to the coronation night on September 7, 2023.

The performance combines elements of traditional Khmer dance, music, and storytelling to tell the story of Stirling’s journey and the challenges he faces along the way.
